RE: How long is your archery-deer season?

Oklahoma starts Oct. 1st and runs to Nov. 20 then takes 9 days off for gun season then starts back up the first of Dec. and goes to the end of Dec. We just added a special doe only season from Jan 1 to Jan. 15. There is a Primitive season the last nine days of Oct. but you can bow hunt during than time you just have to were orange. You are allowed 4 does and 2 bucks. The only thing I wish they would do is move the deer gun season back to the first 9 days of Dec. so it wouldn't coinside w/ the rut. It seems that a lot of the states that have more trophy deer seem to have there gun season after the rut.

TN starts the 4th weekend in September and you can use a bow all the way until the 1st week of January. The only time you can't is during the youth hunt weekend, when there's no adult hunting.
