Lets hear it, give real life examples of advice/instruction from this forum that you feel has madeyou a better bowhunter. What advice did you receive, who was it from and how did you apply it to your own archery endeavors. By all means attach any relevant successphotos.

One of the best threads on here was the Recovery thread....Unfortunatley I had to resort to using the information, but heck we all make bad shots some times. Anyway i shot this buck back a little probably in the liver. My arrow was soaked with blood, but there was no blood trail. I remembered the info on this site and went back the next morning, and unfortunately didnt find it after hours of looking, but the information on this site reminded me to calm down and back out, and not push the deer.

Some crazy guy from Idaho taught me how to shed hunt. Only problem is, while I'm pretty good at HUNTING for sheds, I'm not so good at actually FINDING them. The same guy taught me to take the grunt call off my neck before I shoot my bow at the approaching deer.
[:-] Now, if only somebody can show me how to fire my bow without smacking my treestand seat, I'll be in business.
Rumor has it that there's some guy in Pittsburgh right now who will probably wind up convincing me to buy a new recurve too... [>:] You guys are always costing me money, which stinks b/c I'm a huge tightwad.
Nah, seriously - I've learned a lot from you all - everything from scent control tips to gear recommendations.
I've also been able to cancel all of my hunting magazine subscriptions, b/c all the info you need is right here. That saves me about $50/year.

O yeah, I learned most of what I know about bow tuning from Big John. That guy is a whizz with bows and the bows he set-up for me shot great. It was a little hard starring at his mug while he worked on them though
I got an addiction to buying BowTechs from Matt, he also put me onto the Pentax DCF-SP binoculars, I should just start sending the bills to him.
Cardeer really helped me when I first joined and gave me alot of insight on hunting.
I've learned a little big from everybody on here and this site has definetly help me to become a better hunter.

One of the most valuable things I've learned on here was taught to me by TOPDAWGWOOFWOOF.............He taught me all about RESPECT!
Every story and every picture is a learning experience, that's what it's all about. Making new friends is very benifical as well. And as you all know, that demands it!
Respect!
