I still have my Illinois non-resident buck tag left. I was going back out there for another 8 days on 12/28. But since I am too clumsy to walk down the steps on my deck without falling down, I may not make it back out!<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>
My orthopedic surgeon says no climbing trees for at least 3 months, but what does he know!

Yea, I still have one Missouri tag left. I took one for the freezer earlier in the season and am still hunting hard.
Both of my Illinois non-resident tags have yet to be filled. But I am not finished up there yet either, I plan on going back and trying to take a good buck, but if I dont I can always try and take a doe or two because I made a promise to myself not to shoot anymore young bucks because they are not what I spend $300 for an Illinois tag for.
I have passed up more deer this year than any year I can remember and dont have any regrets whatsoever. I have had a great time and thats all that counts.
But I would like to have one more for the freezer, and with a month left I am hopeful that I can get one. But if I dont, I have some buddies with freezers full of venison and they dont lock their doors.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Filled the tags I had got a smaller 5 point in the first bow season then we took a doe during the gun season that is enough to fill the freezer up for this year. I will leave the rest out there to grow for another year.Practice and Be SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

I still have my bow tag which is the only deer seoson open still. I have until 1/07 to fill it but i am not worried because i already got 2 in the gun season and one of them was 200+ lbs and the other was well over 150 lbs.

All of my three archery tags were filled as of November 16. I have a gun permit that I can take on buck with but to tell you the truth, I have no patience when it comes to gun hunting. I don't know why. I have not even been in the woods during gun season this year. No late bow hunting for me either since all the tags are filled. I'll just have to sit on my hands (whats what my wife makes my seven year old do when he gets impatient) and wait till next year.

I've filled 5, and still have 5. Looking forward to some late muzzleloading, and bowhunting.
Hey Bob, that will probably work to your advantage in the long run! I know my wife would rather I stay at home sitting on my hands right now too....by this point in the season, her patience is wearing a little thin... <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> I can't complain, I guess...I've been out quite a bit<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Bob, LOL...I know exactly what you are talking about! Come Oct....she says "good lord, you're already starting to rut...I can't wait till hunting season is over"...and it hasn't even begun yet!!! Longest 3 months of a non-hunting wife's life, I think.
All I can say to that is ....good thing I'm not as obsessed with football as I am with hunting <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> I'd probably be living alone if I was....
