Default Artic Shield Booties?

Anyone ever use the Artic Shield booties that fit over your boots? And if so...do they work?

I have had a pair for a couple of years now, only used them a coupld of times. They seemed to work really well if you put them on right after you get to your stand and your feet are still nice and warm. I waited until my feet got cold once and I think all it did was trap the cold in, but it was about 5 below that day and didnt use any fooot warmers or hand warmers in them.

I found the Ice Breaker model to work better at keeping my feet warm. It is a bit bulkier than the Arctic Shield model but it is worth it when it gets cold.

I bought a pair for my wife and she really likes them. They definitely work better if you put them on while your feet are still warm, or even stick a couple warmers in them.

I have been using them for years. What I have found is the best way to use these is to take your boots off and slide your socked foot into them with a foot warmer at the toe and one at the heel. Works perfect up in Maine.

I like the Ice Breaker better. Kept my feet warmer then the Arctic Shields.

They work very well over LaCrosse Burly's. The key to 'em is that you MUST put them on over your boots as soon as you reach your stand. Don't wait until your feet are already cold.

They will keep your feet warm, but they are noisy. They have a "non-skid" material on the bottom that does not go well with the metal of the stands that we use.
