Mar 4th Shed Hunt...pictorial
#1
We've had a little break in the rain...so I thought I'd get out and see if there were some recent racks that have dropped. I only found one, but got a few pics I thought I'd share. Kel
A bachelor group lounging as I walked out

I'm not sure to the species, but thought it would make a good pic

As I walked up on this guy, he did what he does best

And finally a shed. I think it's off a little 10 I'd seen all last year. I'm still looking for the other side.

All in all not a bad 2 hours.

Looks like a great 2 hours!!! You decided for me. I have sooo much to do today, but I'm gonna load up my son and go to the woods. That stuff I need to do will still be there when I get home.. You never know If today might be your last.

FYI... The bird is aNorthern Flicker (the eastern/northernform which is Yellow Shafted)- You may think I'm a loser, but I took a bird tax class in college and was compelled to look it up when I saw the pic. Thanks for sharing the cool pics.
By the way, did you take them through aspotting scope adapter by any chance? I've been wanting a scope for scouting and was wondering how well those digital camera adapters work.

Beat me to the Yellow-shafted Flicker...
I killed literally thousands of birds with my BB gun when I was growing up (kept a journal of all my kills for a couple years) and that guy was one of the few I was never able to kill. He was tops of my "Most Wanted" list.
