Love all the talk on the Blazers and should I or shouldn’t I try them. What is so difficult about going out and getting yourself an Arizona EZ Fletch and a pack of Blazers and trying them? I switched from Duravanes about a year ago and haven’t looked back. I was using a RipCord rest but have switched to aWhisker Biscuit and have had no trouble with the Blazers in anyway, shape, or form. Have not had to change any because of wear and still can not see any damage being done by the Whisker Biscuit. I fletched them 6 degrees and put the cock fletch out left. I average 60 – 70 shots a day, over a year so I should be seeing trouble if there is going to be any. Yesterday I had the time to do some testing with the Chronograph and the Guardian, and just for fun I shaved the fletching off a half dozen of the same arrows I was just shooting and weighted them internally to the same as if fletched and shot through the chronograph to see what effect the Blazers had, if any. With my setup and shooting 353gr arrows I averaged 306 fps with 12 shots with fletched arrows. Using six of the same arrows but now unfletched, but weighted to 353 grs, I had an average of 304 fps. Yep, 2 fps slower! Now explain that if you will. Any way, this goes to show that the WB doesn’t have much impact on speed when using the 2” Blazers.

I have always used a WB! I have never had a problem with it!

I've used TM hunter type, Bodoodles, and the WB. I like the WB better by far than the others I've tried. I haven't tried any drop aways but I'm sure there are some good ones I'd like. But since I really have no issues with the WB, it's kind of hard just to switch to be switching. I've found the better my bow is tuned the less (to none) wear on the vanes. I also use feathers which wear down over multiple shots but not much more than they would just wear out anyway. The only thing I'd consider a drawback with the WB is I used to use aluminum arrows and probably would prefer them over carbon but the alum's made a little bit of noise drawing back through the WB. I waxed them and that seemed to take care of the problem but I ended up just going to carbons and they are very silent through the WB.

I did chrono testing of my own a while back and my findings were 1-2 fps. 2" Blazers are excellent vanes. I fletch them all kinds of ways from helical to straight and never have any problems with my WB.

I have said on numerous occasions over the years that speed loss is a non issue with the WB.

Whisker Bisquit's are great rests. They are easy to tune, simple as can be and dont let your arrow fall. Only thing I didnt like when i use one was it tried to eat my Quickspin fletches. But all in all they work great with Blazers or Predator vanes.

great rest the only problem i had was noise.I used to shoot xx78 2315's but after scaring away every deer i tried to draw on i switched to carbons and have not had any more problems

Personally, not my cup of tea. I have heard noise from them at draw back, they are tough on feathers/vains, and have not had that great of a track record with them.

I do on the other hand know a lot of people who do like them, they are just not for me.

I love mine too - had it probably 5 years now.

I even switched form aluminum arrows to carbon - and use the same rest with excellent results.
