Check your local pawn shops, you can find some amazing rigs for very cheap prices if you shop around. Right befor xmas or other major holidays is generally the best times to look.

You are better off with a real pro shop. If you get a Mathews then youwill get a great warranty. If it comes from E-bay then forget it. I bought a 2006 Switchback XT on Ebay for $630 and thought I had a deal, only to find that a dealer 45 miles from here sells them new for $655 with the warranty.

I agree with the others. Many of your local shops might accept bows on consignment. I know of at least two local shops here that do. Timing is everything though. Some times of the year they have quite a selection of used bows while others......
I do not want to rule out Ebay altogether either. In the somewhat distant past I purchased several bows off of Ebay. I checked to make sure the seller had a clue about bows and that they were reputable based on their feedback rating. I have also sold quite a few of my own bows, and bows for the local shop, on Ebay over the past few years. I stand behind anything I sell.
