Wish us luck
My daughter and I are headed up to Minneapolis tomorrow night. She is going to be the stem cell donor for her mother, my wife, who has Luckemia. She will get a series of growth harmone shots for 5 days, to make her bone marrow produce extra stem cells. Then for 2 days she will be hooked up to a machine for 5 hours to extract the stem cells. The doctors will then give my daughters stem cells to my wife in hopes of replacing her bone marrow with my daughters. As many of you know my wife has been battling this since mid October. Well it is finally happening and no turning back now. We are hoping for the best. Which means my wife might be home by May. They want her to be strong enough to fight off viruses on her own before they let her come home.
Your thoughts and prayes will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to all of you for your support.

John,
Prayers have been offered up from Western New York for you and your family. You guys are in my heart, as one of my students has battled lukemia most of his life..... praise God he seems to have beaten it. I will keep praying the same for your wife ...
