Funny you asked!! I took mine down when Ohio's guns season started, and just put it back up today! I marked today as the start of my catch and release deer hunting!!

I thought about putting mine back up, but I might just wait until they start antler growth again.

July - January. Before season until the end.

I'm a little different. The deer, here, change their patterns in direct correlation to where they're feeding at the time. Someone may teach me something, here, but I don't know why I need to know what they're doing in the late Winter and Early Spring. I start putting out cameras in July.....to inventory the bucks on the property I hunt. I take all but one down until the season is over (mid-Dec.), but the one I leave out is NOT really close to where I hunt.

year round, typically.. but I check them only bout once a month from april to july... then it picks up to bout twice a month...

June 1st through September 15th or so. I wait until after our spring turkey season is over and takethem down just before our archery season starts. Theft is the biggest factor in determining when and where I place mine.

Late May or early June is whenI am planning on putting mine back up. I would like to see the antler development. I just took them down last week even thoughthe bucks around here still had antlers! I couldn't believe it.

Cams are out and pretty much stay out year round. I'll be very interested soon in trying to capture some decent turkey images and then by the time turkey season is over I'm looking to keep tabs on the areas fawns and then it's all about big velvet antlered bucks! The cycle never ends... I love it!
