Sad to say that oftentimes we probably expect the worst in scenarios such as this... I'm so glad to see it's all OK.

That is awesome news. Thats why its good to know some basic survival tactics, a week is a long time be in the wild.

Anyone hear how or why he was lost for a week? Was he is that isolated of an area that he couldn't find a road for that long?

i live in grand rapids minnesota which is a hour and a half from brainerd. I hope that they find ryan. he seems like a good guy. my prayers for his family and his safe return.
