They look like the same deer to me coloring means nothing when finding sheds as one may have dropped a week or 2 earlier, or one may have been faced down and the other faced up and sun light all are factors. The number of points on each one doesn't matter that much either. Most deer never have that perfect set of matched antlers. There is always most something that is a little different about them.
I am not talking about the number of points but rather the frame size of each shed. I have found quite a few sheds in my day and in my experiences I would not think those two were shed in the same year.

Just my opinion.

Magnumbones...nice

Coloring could be due to sunlight, I've picked up same year sheds many times, one in the direct sun, the other 10 feet away under a tree, color fades in a month of sunlight fast..it could be two seperate years as well as some of the guys are saying... I've found same bucks sheds year after year in an area of 50-100 yards..and this is in big woods terrain.. so it wouldnt be out of the question to pick up a freshy and a last years from the same buck..close together.

Size.. most of the sets I have found over the years and with all the bucksI have killed....almost all have a dominate side and weaker side.. JM2C

great sheds nevertheless...

They are awesome, especially for the area. I think they are from the same buck for sure. There's too many similarities.

Like I said they were found 2 days apart. I don't think one would have lasted a whole year without the critters getting to them. Anyway here's a few more angles.
