I do all of my turkey hunting from the comfort of my Double Bull T5 ground blind , I think it's great for archery.
I even use itsometimes during the deer season when the weather is wet and windy , it helps take the chill off.
I whould tell everybody if there going to hunt from the ground , then use a Double Bull ground blind ether the T5 or the Matrix.

I'm a poor student so I use the doghouse blind by ameristep... As long as I brush it in the deer don't seem to notice. (I mostly hunt from my ever so comfortable summit climber but there are a couple of good funnels with no good trees for climbing.)

I'm considering buying a blind, due to the fact, I don't do heights. I purchased a stand a year ago and have been in it a few times. I'm just not comfortable up in the air on a little platform. Never have been; whether it be a ladder, tree, roof, etc.... Just don't care for heights. Like to hear from others who feel the same way. Also, like to hear more about ground blinds. Thanks!!!

I used a Double Bull T2 for a few years for both deer and turkey, but a friend of mine showed me his Cabelas Lightning Set blind one day and I was hooked.

Very roomy (84"X 98" is much larger than my T2 and also many other brands as well) and umbrella design makes for easy and fast set up.

GoodLuck

I have been using a Big Game Treestands Groundmax Deluxe blind for the last two years. I use it in specific situations where I cannot use a treestand. Percentage of use between the two would probably be something like 75% treestand, 25% blind but I find each has its own set of benefits.

Below is a link to a journal article I wrote while using the blind last year for spring turkey.

If your considering a good ground blind the you should talk to gregholland , he sells new Double Bull blinds .
They are great for turkey hunting I have the T5 modle but the Matrix is awesome with its 360 degree shooting range.
