Gimper, Welcome to the forums! Actually, I would have to say that you found one of the best sites for information on the web. Here you will find compound bow reviews, experiences with customer service for particular companies and more. I found this place a year ago and have learned more here than anywhere else on the web. For the technical specs of bows and accesories, also check out the technical forum.

Gimper, I have to agree with Tribalscream on this one. You will get true opinions on this site. They may not be backed by a lot of fact, but they will come from the heart. I often find bow reviews to be rather bland. They tend to state the obvious without getting into the fine details of each bow. Usually, the bow being reviewed ends up sounding like a great bow. Well, if most bows are great, let's find out which ones lead the pack. The best bow reviews I've read have been on either this forum or the technical forum.

Tribalscream, I don't remember seeing that moderator ranking by your name before. If it's new, congratulations on the promotion, or maybe I should give my condolences.

Thanks straightarrow. It is new and the way today is going, it may be the latter.

Gimper, JeffB on the Technical Forum writes some of the best bow reports anywhere. You can find them by doing a search for "report" on the "Technical Forum" for user "JeffB". I think he has done 3 or 4 in the past two months or so.

I agree with all this and Renz gave you a good link. There is a chart on that site that rates bows as to the level of forgiveness also for those who haven't seen it.

I had some questions about how they came up with these ratings so I shot them an E-mail. A guy named Mike promptly replied to me and explained it as well as answered some additional questions I had. I was pleased by that.
Welcome aboard!

RENZ is right. I am pretty new myself. I found that website a while ago, and it helped me out. Although, since I have found this sight, I haven't been back to any others. This sight is THE BEST!
