RE: Bow quailty/ Hoyt trykon.
They are good bows. Not the smoothest in the world, but not the worst either. Fast and quiet. W/ an STS on board, it's virtually silent.
BUT.....you may suggest he look into a Vectrix. The price is gonna be REAL close, and the Vectrix is smoother and quieter. |

RE: Bow quailty/ Hoyt trykon.
I reluctantly sold my Trykon and bought a Vectrix, best choice I've ever made in buying a bow. The Trykon was everything that mobow said above, but he's also correct in telling you about the Vectrix. Way smoother than the Trykon and super quiet.

vectrix is a lot better shooting bow than the trykon... for a $100 more dollars my as well go with the vectrix. or the pearson z-34 : )

RE: Bow quailty/ Hoyt trykon.
I have owned both, I too releuctantly sold mine and purchased the Vectrix. I couldn't be happier but that Trykon killed A LOT of stuff. I'd definitely recommend either one.
