Default Bow quailty/ Hoyt trykon.

I was curious, I know nothing about the Hoyt trykon.I have amember atmy camp that is wanting to purchase one what do ya think. I would like to hear from some thepeople that own one.

They are good bows. Not the smoothest in the world, but not the worst either. Fast and quiet. W/ an STS on board, it's virtually silent.

BUT.....you may suggest he look into a Vectrix. The price is gonna be REAL close, and the Vectrix is smoother and quieter.

I reluctantly sold my Trykon and bought a Vectrix, best choice I've ever made in buying a bow. The Trykon was everything that mobow said above, but he's also correct in telling you about the Vectrix. Way smoother than the Trykon and super quiet.

I have a Trykon and love it. I have not had the opportunity to try the Vectrix. but I dobelieve you won't be dissapointed with either. and ebay has alot of them. Good luck

and ebay has alot of them.
Remember......Hoyt will not honor a warranty of a bow purchased via ebay.

vectrix is a lot better shooting bow than the trykon... for a $100 more dollars my as well go with the vectrix. or the pearson z-34 : )

I have owned both, I too releuctantly sold mine and purchased the Vectrix. I couldn't be happier but that Trykon killed A LOT of stuff. I'd definitely recommend either one.
