Well , I'm half way there. I have the freezer full of venison , but to gain complete happiness I need to buy an upright freezer.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> Seems whatever type of venison I decide to cook , it's always on the bottom of my chest freezer.<img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle>

We need to get a chest freezer. That one is the just the old fridge we keep in the basement.

i have the chest freezer so full i do not know what i am going to do come feb when the hogs are ready to meet the smith and a sharp knife. next year i am going to have to plan it out a little different. but we will not starve that much is for sure.

Yep know what you mean,I called my parents yesterday and ask if they had any room in there freezer. Mine is jammed and I still have a deer at the butchers and 2 more tags

Jimmya, how much meat can you get from the average hog? Just curious. I've never hunted those things, but I would like to one day.
