I just had a moose steak for the first time... My god is that some good stuff. It was way better than whitetail.

Yep moose and elk are both very very good.

i have been told that moose is the best meat out there.

i have had caribou tho, and it was awesome.

Yes, it is a toss up between Elk and Moose....But what isn't an arguement is that they are both better than whitetail.

I do like deer alot, but I have to admit, elk does taste better. I have never had the opportunity to try moose, although I have heard it is excellent. Buffalo is also out of this world. Would eat it over steak anyday!
