I have both as well. My buddy shoots your arrows and he dented his shaft on the left one. his dents were Very similar to your pictures although his dents were longer and the appeared to be less indented than yours.

Thats one of the things I like about the FMJ's. A carbon shaft wrapped in alluminum. The carbon, even if damaged, can't explode while wrapped in alluminum.
