So I purchased a Kwikee Quiver several nights ago and put it on my Allegiance. All was well and good until I decided to pick it up tonight and admire her.

Upon picking my bow up and turning it vertical, two of the arrows simply slid out of the quiver. I'm shooting Easton FMJ's, so of course their the Slim Technology arrows, but I didn't figure that I would have any problem with the arrows being held firmly in the quiver. Considering I just spent $30 on this quiver, I'm more than slightly disapointed.

If I were to purchase the foam insert for the quiver, do you think this may solve my problem? Am I just SOL and out $30? What do you guys think?

Dan not sure what one you purchased but kwikee makes different parts for the holder that holds the arrows and i know they make a small one for the little arrows. You should be able to purchase one andjust replace the part that your arrows snap into. Walt

Get the small holder and you'll be in good shape. Or return it and get an Alpine Soft-Loc and never look back.

Dan, I would scrap it and go with the alpine 5 arrow softloc. Quiet as they come and no problem holding the smaller diameter carbons. I also found that you can get the tree screw adapter and leave it attached to the quiver for hanging in the tree. You can also get in MO Obsession camo to match your allegiance.

nother vote for the alpine if you decide to get a diffrent quiver. i carry the 3 arrow model..

I looked at the Alpine and didn't like how heavy it was. I hunt elk and I don't want the added weight hiking around.

Dan, I have a Kwikee and had the same issues with ACC arrows. Here is how I solved it. Get a can of spray foam and put some in the top of the quiver. It dries pretty hard, so use a practice broadhead to make your "slots" for where your hunting broadheads will go so you don't dull them. That solves the top problem. Nowforwhere the arrows are held below. Get some sports wrap. The kind that sticks to itself as you wrap it. I used contact cement and that wrap and put that wrap inside each notch for where an arrow should go. It is nice and sticky and it also made the openings smaller. No more problems. There are others materials you could use for that as well, pretty much whatever you have laying around the house. I know it is pretty hillbilly rigged, but it works well for me and has forfor or fiveyears now.

I like Kwikee quivers and thats what i've always used. I currently have two, the lite 4 and the kwikee combo. I use Goldtip5575with both and i don't have any issues with the arrows coming out until i take them out. Just make sure you get the right holder for the size arrows your using and you'll be fine.

Dan, not sure what model it is that you have,but the one I have can hold fat aluminums and slim carbons very snuggly. The top part of the grip holds bigger arrows, if you have small slim carbons, you just push it down farther into the second grip. Here is a pic of mine.

You can see from the picture that these carbons are pushed down farther than the first grip there. The grip above the carbons is the one that holds all your aluminums and bigger arrows. Hopefully this helps somewhat. Kind of hard to explain.
