Default What do you think of this spot?

This is the spot I have been bowhunting since 1999. In the photo the area outlined in red is the property line which consists of 247 acres, 102 of which is crop land and the area outlined in yellow was logged in 2001 and this spring we are cleaning out the logged areas and planting food plots along with the 13 acres of alfalfa that the landowner is putting in for deer and hay for his cattle. We should attract and hold a good deal more deer on the land. Prior to logging we would see 20 does in a field at once not to mention 3-4 170" or better bucks. Since then the #'s have dropped to about 10-15 does and 1 buck 170" or better. I just thought i would see what you all thought. All of the work is the result of a management plan i did for a Wildlife Management Course I took this past fall.

The area looks as if you could have a few funnels there if it is not over hunted.

Looks like a very promising spot. I see a lot of places I would love to have a stand. When are WE going hunting?

Looks excellent! I can't imagine that the efforts you will be making wont just make it that much better.

The spot looks great! But I am more impressed with the GlobeXplorer. That looks top notch for quality, and it does not seem old and out dated for my area. Now I need to come to grips with buying a membership.[&o]
