Here is a pic of our private range we have some 3d targets in the wooded area behind my truck.
The yellow bag holders have been changed out and are now steel.
This pic was taken at about 2/3 the distance we can shoot if we want to shoot farther we just move the targets into the field at the back and can shoot out to about 150 yards there.

Don:
No wrong answer.....but do you eat 'em? My son shoots them.....and I was just wondering. Again.....no wrong answer. We could shoot 'em every day for a year and not get rid of them all......

Yep, Grandpa loves them. I skin them and give them to him. If one doesn't eat them and chooses to toss them in a ravine, nothing in nature goes to waste; to quote Josey Wales,"Buzzards have to eat , same as worms."

I agree......it used to bother me more to see dead animals on the road. I was just talking to my Father in law about this, last night. He' leave 'em in the field (squirrels). Critters will be eaten by SOMETHING.
Just wondering. We ate 'em growing up.....but I haven't in YEARS.

It's snow covered at the moment but here it is early fall. The targets are 20 yards standing on my deck. On the ground I can back out into the woods and shoot 50 yards before I have to start moving targets.
