Default Bow for Girlfriend

I'm looking to get a bow for my girlfriend first for 3D then when she gets better hunting. I was looking at the selina or trykon jr lines. What do you think or suggest. I shoot the vetrix and love it but cant seem to find anything in the para limb bows with lower poundage. Ps she is 5'11 128 lbs and has a 27/28 in draw. Thanks for any help.

I would say take her to the Pro shop and let her shoot a couple. Let her find the bow that works best for her.. Sort of how you picked your bow, Unless it is a suprise... Then I would suggest the Selena, Its a very good Woman's Bow from Hoyt. I know a few ladies that have shot/shoot them and they are very pleased.

We got my wife a Parker Challenger II. It's one of the most popular among women and kids because of there "growing up parker" program where as they strengthen by shooting, for $50 you can get the next cam module to increase her poundage. It come 20-30, 30-40, 40-50, etc. It shoot really nice and smooth!

I have the Bowtech Equalizer. Will be bumping up to an XT as soon as I wear this one out or save up enough money.. Equalizer is nice but you can't beat how quiet the XT is...

I have 2 Daughters (33 & 15) & got them Bear SparrowHawks from Cabels.
35#45# & they think they are great. I think Cabelas has them on sale right now for around $145.00 reg $190 ? You can view them on line.
Like I said,my girls do very well with them....If cost is no problem you can go for Many other models available.

Has she already shot??? Or is this a getting her into the sport attempt??? If she's already shot and SHE wants a new bow, I'd take her to a pro shop and let her shoot a few different bows. You wouldn't want her buying YOUR bow without your input would you???

I got my girlfriend a Martin saber over the summer and she loved it, Its adjustable from 35-50# and its a light, easy to shoot bow. Martin makes some good bows for smaller framed people.
