QS, Awesome sounding way to t.hunt. Why not take a lightweight backpack and throw the bird in it?

That's what I did - left the turkey vest at home (pockets slappedoff my knees while pedaling) and stuffed a deke in a green backpack. Dress light and take a cable-lock for your bike. I just locked it to a tree and went up over the hill when I got a gobble. Still, hard to stuff a fat tom in a backpack. Feathers everywhere with legs sticking out the top. LOL Looked like "Ernest goes Hunting."

Hardcore, here is how i hold my bow on my bike.I usually carry a light pack on my back. If I get somrthing I can hang the quarters and take at least one with meon the pack frame.I can put this on the bike by resting it across the handle bars and jamming the bottom under the seat and lashing down.I have numerous lean to's built throughout my hunting country somy pack is loaded with a few things to go out a couple of days just hunt where the elk are and bed down andhunt the next day. No need to go back to main camp.

RE: Mt. Bikes and Bowhunting??

i frequently use a bike for turkey hunting and dove hunting. For dove hunting I just use it to get to and from spots that dont allow vehicles. For turkeys I cruise the ridges for gobblers. I have no modifications on it but after seeing this thread I might have to add a few.
