URGENT NEED HELP

i recently purchased a XI 268 bow and was needing some information on it i have done all kinds of searches on the net and found nothing i even called escalade sports which are the ones that own indian archery the makers of XI bows and even they cant tell me anything about the bow they say that thier is no record of it in there database

yea its old and still in beautiful mint condition but i have no information on it all i know is that i was made by indian archery and escalade sports now owns that company and they have no information on that bow

What info do you need?
Looks like it's got steel cables so be sure you don't put any of the "no creep" strings on it our you'll tear the anchors off the ends of the cable; stick with Dacron strings. It also looks like it had a "No Glove" on it that was pushed out of the way when it was converted to a string loop for release shooting. To be safe, I'd just replace the old string and get it set up right. Don't expect it to be a scream machine; it's an Edsel in a world of Porsches, but it'll still kill deer just as dead now as it did back in the 80's. Good luck.

as much as you might know about it ....i dont even know the fps of it all i know is that i have shot my carbon arrows with it and shattered them on impact so i know it soars but all i know is that it was made by indian archery dont know what year or anything

I couldn't even begin to tell you how old that bow is. They have no record of it because when that bow was made, Indian Archery produced XI bows. XI has been out of business for quite a few years now....
That riser is wood, yes? And the limbs? I bet that rascal is 20+ years old.
