Phase 2 of my basement shop is complete

I just moved a couple weeks ago and finally got around to rebuilding my basement shop here. I just completed phasetwo with one more phase to go. Here is what I have done so far.....

Post your photos as well so I can steal any good ideas you had [8D]

I started with painting the walls with a semi-gloss white paint and building a 10' X 6' work bench framed with 2" X 4"s with 3/4" 7 ply Maple plywood as the bench top. I also attached 1" X 2"s to the back of the bench so nothing can roll off the rearof the benchonto the floor. I'm 27, getting to old to be bending over picking stuff up that fell off the bench :D;)

Next, I attached 1" X 2" furring strips to the block and hung asheet of 4' X 8' peg board on the furring.I decided to lighten the place up a little more over the existing 2 bulb light setupso I added two 4' fluorescent lights above each side of the bench. It's nice and bright down there now.

Here is what it first looks like coming into the that wing of the basement (the basement is shaped like an L).

Here is a close up photo of the peg board. I still have a few things to hang but I need to pick up more hooks first.

This is the arrow building station here. I need to pick up a new arrow saw however. Other than that I have it covered.

This is a little rack I made for my T-handle allen wrenches. I used a 3/8"s wood bit to drill the holes for the wrenches.

This is a photo of my bow scale / chronograph / paper tuner area. I built the paper tuner out of 1/2" plastic pipe and use 30" wide craft paper with it. I drilled a hole through the floor joist to hang my scale from and hung the Morrell Yellow Jacket off of 2 screw hooks. I usethe tripod for the chronograph.

This is the overview of it all as best as I could fit it into the photo.

So, tell me what I have forgot, over looked andneed to add.

Phase 3 will be storage for all of my treestands, decoys and ground blinds.

I would say get yourself a good stool instead of that old chair you've got. Other than that, it looks fantastic!

I'm hoping I'll have enough money left over after I get my car worked on to at least get my basement project started.

I like it Buckeye!!!

Did you mention a bow press? that's about all I would add. makes me think about doing something like that as well. Mine is set up mostly for gunsmithing but with a little addition, I can build a "bow Section" too.

Looks great.
