How to activate Carbon clothing?
#91
heres teh conclusion i have come to unless you want to melt your suit the carbon isnt going to be reactivated so i just tak e my hunting clothes put them in a scent free bag with dirt and acorns to make it smell like the area i am hunting and spray down my body with scent killer and wash with scent killer and it seems to work for me and the dirt and scorns are free so it is inexpensive and good working heck i can tsee a reason to get the carbon clothing

I still fel that placing it in the dryer removes some of the adsorbed odor rendering the garment useful in reducing some of the human odor we produce . It is however just one piece of the scent control puzzle. No, it won't stop a fart, and you can't sweat all day, throw on a suit and expect it to work miracles. All aspects of scent control are important including playing the wind. I wait until I find the product on sale and then purchase it . I'm happy with the performance so far and plan to replace my suit in the near future!

I guess I'll stick to keeping clean and using my newly bought X-scent baselayers and try some gumoflauge for breath. Why? Because Michaels says carbon suits don't work, silver ion clothing does work, and Don Higgins supports Gumoflauge. If the experts say one doesn't work and the other does......then they can't be wrong right?

I was thinking of buying some, but it sounds like a big rip off the more I read about it. The fact is no one knows or will ever know.

Where i used to hunt in Md. I had the wind figured out for Morning hunts and saw ample deer!!!!!!!I bought Scent-LOk stuff and maybe saw a few more deer..point being i do not hunt "MATURE DEER" where i normally hunt because there are none.....I hunt for MEAT!!!!!!!!!!!.i would say that on average that 90% of the time on my point stand that you will have the opportunity to fill the freezer.I know this because since i have moved out of state Len has been in my stand and from what i have heard playing the wind at the right time is all good.I will say that playing the wind yadda yadda yadda .stand placement is paramount along witha low impact entrance is paramount
