I have a hard enough time staying awake in a regular stand, I would never see anything out of that.

Hmmm, shooting a deer while still in your robe drinking coffee - warm, dry and comfortable . . . ?

No, give me the cold, windy, rainy, snowy weather with nothing that draws a breath walking by your stand . Now THAT'S hunting!

Wow, that is something!

I think it would be a cool cabin to stay in during a hunt.

I onced stayed in a fire look out tower that the USFS did not use anymore and the park service rents it out now.

ORIGINAL: timbercruiser

I'm currious about all the urns. Looks like the cremated remains of some of Dick Chaney's hunting partners........
I think I've figured out the reason for the urns...they're an up-grade to those Gatorade bottles deer hunters are so fond of.

I would just about bet youa deer has never been shot out of that place. I would guess it just a great location toput up a small cabin like that. Just look at the view, would you shoot a deer out of the window? I think that it would just take away fromwhat that place has to offer....IMO! Would probably change the inside to more of a cabin feel, couple nice mounts ect...

Everybody says thats cheating. So are the deer dumber? Because as far as i can see its a glorified box blind. If you wanna call this cheating, then you have to call box blinds cheating. Now i personally hunt outta a lock on, and wouldn't have it anyother way. But some people can't handle the weather. So because someone wants to be MUCH more comfortable we are gonna call them a cheater? What about scopes on a gun? you only have to set within 200 yds. WHat about bows that are shooting 300+ fps? Trailcameras, food plots, Handwarmers? They are all tools. Just another thing to help our chances at tagging a big one. Maybe we should all just hunt with a small stick? It cant be a big stick with a sharpened point....cause thats cheating...
