The reason I'm asking for numbers at 300 and 400 gr is so I can sort of establish a mathematical pattern or guideline for how much a certain reduction in draw length robs you in speed and how much weight factors in as well.
Of course if I'm buying a $750 bow I'm not shooting 5gpp out of it. 400gr total is what I will be using for hunting.

You could expect that and 255 fps with a 400 grain arrow.Atleast my program says it will and the other members on here that I have run numbers foron the Vectrix, were dead on.

Maybe there are some that have a Vectrix setup at 27" and we can know for sure.

I just ran the numbers on my old Protec and my program was off by 4 fps.Could be the loop and peep.
Running your numbers against mine should have you shooting a 300 grain arrow 280 fps-283 fps and a 400 grain arrow 251 fps-254 fps.
If you wanted to shoot a 300 grain arrow for 3-d,it will be fine. 5 gr per rule is given for a 30" draw and at 27",you are well beneath the danger level.

Programs are not always accurate but like I have stated,I have checked thr Vectrix before and it was accurate. As well as checking my previous Protec and it was real close.
Maybe someone has a Vectrix setup at 27" to know for sure.

Like I said,I had a bow that was rated at 305 ibo pushing 284 @ 28 1/2" at 60#'s.
Subtract 12 fps for the draw length, that puts you at 272 fps and then add 10 fps for ibo rating and that puts you back up to 282 fps.
Remember the bow is farely fast and the arrow is REALLY light. 5 gr per pound.
