RE: need to find a bow for my wife

Glad to hear she found a bow that works well for her:)
Now send her on over to us at www.womenhunters.com lots of ladies there and lots of info for the women hunter there also.
I also looked at the Bowtech ESD, Matthews, Renegade tominator etc, Hoyt, PSE,etc and couldnt find one single dealer willing to get one set to my specs for me to try until I came across a Parker Dealer in the next county and he said he would order the Parker Ultra Lite for me to try and if I didnt want it no problem, he said he would have no trouble selling it, Well I bought it and I love it!
This is just one of the examples of what we go through sometimes trying to find the right equiptment, now finding camo clothing that fits women properly is a hole nother ball of wax;)

Lady Forge,
My wife was surprised because we live in a very small town outside of Dallas and she figured that she was going to be the only woman in the pro shop that day. Not only was she not the only woman there, there was another lady in picking up her knew LadyHawk as well. Who knew?
We got her all decked out in camo last year. You talk about look sweet! I shot a 5x5 on Saturday and after she helped me pack it out I proposed to her on Sunday:)

I' d push the Hoyt Sierratec. They are designed for women, younger archers and those with shorter draw lengths, but a lot of men are now shooting them. I took a hard look at them myself before deciding on the Razortec.

After pulling my 28" 70 lb Mathews Legacy I' ve got to admit that the 25" 30 lb LadyHawk was pretty fun to dink around with...I couldn' t believe how well this bow grouped. It comes in 30,40,50, and 60 lb draw weights with 20-26 inch draw lengths. I wouldn' t hesitate to buy one for a smaller framed shooter.

RE the proposal, what was her answer? I hope CONGRATS ARE IN ORDER!!!!!
A few christmas' s ago my husband got me a whole new camo outfit, the coveralls, the pants, the top, and scent lok along with a dozen new goldtip arrows and hiding on the tree was a little box that looked like an ornament that had my name on it and I opened it last only to find a diamond engagement ring, I told the hubby great " Now I can look good in diamonds and camo when I kill things" [:o];)

Sounds like you got quite the proposal there!
Yes. Congratulations are in order. I proposed at a scenic over look near the Flat Tops wilderness area. It was quite memorable. Back at work they gave me a hard time about wether I was more excited about the new fiance or the 5 pt bull. I told them that it was a great vacation all the way around...
