Well if you look on the address on both packages they are both the same company. I have found the Rage'sto be extremely sharp (not to say others haven't found dull ones). We sold probably 100+ packs of them at the shop this year and had some awesome results.

I personally shot 3x deer with them and I have never seen such devastating entrance holes from an expandable head. I used the 2 blades. The snypers have a little less cutting diameter but do have a better blade retention system IMHO, they have a band that goes around the blade. The Rages use a band at the base of the blade that if you are not careful can open. I primarily treestand hunt so it wasn't a problem, but I may supply my own bands around the blades next year on the Rages to keep them closed just in case.

I know most of you have seen this, but this was the first deer I shot with the Rages this year. This was a 43 yard quartering away passthrough that took out multiple ribs, had almost a 6" entrance hole (because of quartering angle) and it nearly sliced the heart in half. The best thing about these heads is that they penetrate MUCH better than I have seen on other massive expandables. As you can imagine he didn't go far. On the other 2x I shot at deer, one went 50 yards, one went less than 10. Both had blood trails a blind man could have followed.

A buddy of mine killed a doe with a Rage this season. It was the most impressive entry wound I've ever seen. He's got some cool photos - one of the deer as he walked up on it, and one of the entry wound itself. Looked like you could stick your hand in the wound. I'll pass this thread along to him - I'm sure he'll chime in.

You can't fool me. I know a ax slit when I see one.[8D][8D][&:] What a chop! A little lower and you could have field dressed it.:D

Here is how I found the doe ErinsDaddy is talking about.

I did not take a photo of the heart but it looked exactly like the photo above posted by Rick James. Massive damage......

I have also read posts of people saying the Rage blades are not sharp. The set I bought ARE VERY SHARP. Even after this complete passthru and the arrow sticking into the ground, the blades are still sharp......maybe not as sharp as before but sharp enough for me to use again.
