I was looking at this picture and realized that the doe in front, didnt look right. Is that color variation nothing but just different color or could it be bruised?

I don't think you can bruise fur...

I would guess its just a color variation.

just a total guess, im in Wi with the big cwd prob, and they always ask if your deer looked sick before you shot it, for cwd purposes. Is this a possibility? Again, total random guess.

but , it almost just looks like some sort of shadow to me.

I looks to me like it might be something with the lighting of the picture. Maybe the flash or something. If you look the other doe also looks very dark on the top of her neck.

Nothing to worry about IMO, at least I wouldn't.

but also look up near where her shoulder blade is...looks like awound, i think i may have more pics of her let me look
