Interesting, thanks for posting that Hardcore.

What is strange, is how "upfront" the seller is about the antlers being fake, yet there he is with a picture of the skinned out deer in the back of his truck (with a bow in his hands) pretending (or at least it seems that way) that it is very much a real deer and that he killed it that way.

Perhaps someone tried to pull the wool over on someone and was busted and now is trying to unloadithuh?

I would not trust that guy to buy a pencil from him. Of course he was "nice enough" to provide an acceptable buy it now price.

That guy is a taxidermist from Newburg, North Dakota. The antlers were made for a practical joke. The story of them is on his website.

Do you have the link to his website? It would be interesting to read.

I could understand it being a joke, but why sell them. And who on earth would pay for it? I agree that no one would ever believe that to be real, at least not in the hunting community.

I can see it being a good joke. KC's right, I dont think that it would be able to fool a seasoned hunter. Why knock the seller, people will buy anything on ebay, so why not try and make a buck? no pun.
