When I am not working , it is legal shooting hours, and I am in my stand or blind; these are my favorite hunting conditions.

Cloudy with snow on the ground, 6-10 inches with temps around 20F. Winds, light and variable while I'm at it.I had to go to Alberta to get these conditions this past Nov.

I can't just pick one.. really. Part of me wants to say new fallen snow about 5 inches deep with a temperature hovering around 25. AND THEN, I recall those first frosty mornings of fall with the smell of new fallen leaves everywhere and a temperature around 30-35. Nothing beats that smell.
