Went scouting today
I went over to IL scouting- coyote hunting this morning. Saw a ton of rubs, for some reason the bucks love to tear up the trees in this woods. I found a couple of spots with a good concentration of rubs. I will be there next season, (Forgot to take the camera in the woods with me). Couldn't call up any coyotes. Then on the way home I saw the turkey in the pic fly accross the road an land in the woods. Nice longbeard.
Coming home on the River Road between Grafton and Alton I spotted these Eagles in the trees. There were 5 of them altogether. I guess the ice up North has pushed them down South.
Got home and checked my trail camrea and there are a couple of small bucks left in the neighborhood. I start feeding them corn after the season is over. So I can see who made it thru the season. It doesn't take them long to find it!!
