I know in MO a few years back they started allowing unlimited doe archery tags in St. louis, Co. the area around Kansas City and Columbia just to reduce the numbers. It was a success so now in most of the state you can killas many does with a bow as you want. A lot of the data used in the studies for this project came from Ins. companies. They definatelydo have a say in hunting issues.

Well of course I'm wrong now that you edited you original post. As you stated it originally, I believe I was right on. Insurance companies do base rates on claims and desired dividends for stockholders. Originally you made it sound like we the bowhunters are the salvation of insurance companies and the only ones doing anything about it. It sounded as if it weren't for us the world would come to an end.
