Default I think it's time for a bow dove hunt

I look out the window and the ground is covered with doves. I put out bird seed for the tweets and deer. Today seems like dove day. This is about half of what's out there. Got them feeding in two places. Earlier there were about a dozen squirrels followed by probably 30 Cardinals. Last night I had to shoo away a pair of foxes to save some of the rabbits. You name it, I could have a hunt in the yard. Today it's doves.[8D]

I'm joking. They're like pets. Sometimes late in the afternoon or early morning I'll have 200 birds of various species in this frame.

Anyone still why wonder why Dove Bill in MI failed?

One of our most proliferate killers on HNI thinks of them as pets

1-Take about 16-24 dove breasts - wrap in bacon
2-Place in cake-type rectangular dish
3-marinade in equal parts of Worcestershire sauce and brown mustard, overnight
4-grill

Man I love me some succulent doves.........

We call 'em grey rockets. Ya'll call 'em whatever you want to.

Dude, that just sounds like fun! I've actually thought about doing that, for kicks and giggles. Fletching up a dozen or so flu flu's and lettin 'em eat..

Keep those back yard pictures comin dude, I enjoy those.

I'm glad to see that others have an interest in feeding birds.

I've been feeding them for as long as I can remember. I enjoy seeing the different varietys. I feed year round too.

Davidmil, do you feed the hummers in the summer too?
