Default Texas Hunt Queation

My son move to Tx 6 years ago and with me living in Indiana we don't get to see one another very often. It has always been my dream to harvest a Mule deer. Is there anywhere within a 6-8 hour drive from Witchta Falls that my son and I can share a hunt together? Antelope would be a viable option. I am talking public land if possible. Thanks

You should be able to find a few good outfits for Mulies within 50-60 miles of Fort Stockton which is about 6 1/2 hours from Wichita Falls. Do a google search.

Good luck and happy hunting! Great days when you're afield father and son.

I have family around Arp TX not to far from you good for white and mullies and also alot of turkey. There is public land but also most in the area will allow people to hunt.
