Is this deer alive??? Here is the story from another forum .... This deer was found laying on the concrete next to the John Deere Waterloo Factory. The email I got with the pics said it was soaking wet from either sweating or from being in the pond on JD property. My take on it is it was walking across the pond from it being frozen and fell through since it happened Jan. 10. After a long struggle to get out it wondering up by the factory and bedded down from feeling heat, notice the vents in one of the pics. The workers showed up for work and the buck was so exhausted and disorientated it could not get the strength to run away. This is just my opinion and will let everyone know if I hear anything more about it.

Well it is standing and his head has moved in the pics...so i beleive he is alive but they should be careful. Messing with a wild animal like that could lead to trouble. Luckily they are wearing safety glasses!

It almost looks like the deer is leaning against the guard rail and the guys are maybe holding the head up ..... I dunno....

The guy is standing between the rail and the buck. Could be real.

Looks very alive and a whole lot disoriented and exhausted. I'm always amazed at how short these animals are compared to us side by side, but when there in the woods they look much larger.

Definitely not standing between the guardrail ..... lookk closely .. his shirt is hanging over, but he is behind it.

those are some sweet pics, thats an awesome deer. Id say alive.

I would guess it is a decoy for poachers,they have some very good looking rigs with heads that move.
