Tomorrow I'm going to take down my treestand, so it is officially the end of the season for me. I have to say it has been an awesome year. I went from shooting my first deer last year to shooting 4 deer this season, and recovering 3 of them. I shot my biggest buck which is only one of two and was a 4 pointer, but I'm still young. I guess taking my stand down just means it is that much closer to the preparation for next season, and I cant wait. Until then I will dream about opening day and pass those days with some 3d shoots, fishing, and turkey hunting.

same here i went from killing one deer three years ago to seeing the most deer i have ever seen this year and killing 2. One of which was my first rack buck!!

Yes it will be a sad day but not the end of the season. Still got post season scouting and some shed hunting. Your season only ends if you let it.
