I've only taken one tommy with the bow, I hit him right where the wing meets the body (the shoulder if you will). Anchored him pretty good.

The only other tom I shot at with the bow, I went for ahead shot...he bobbed the arrow.

the one that has green behind the leg is like one my relative just shot he got it from back of leg and went into vitals is that a bad place to shoot or not

go for the haed or lower neck but vitals is a nice shot too.

I had a quarting away shot and i shot it threw the win and into the chest cavity. It died in ten seconds or less

I prefer the wingbutt and the hip shot. Both shots will put the bird down extremely fast and he won't be able to take to the wing and loose ya with a power glide. Keep 'em in front of ya and they won't flop long! :D
