I missed a nice whitetail buck this year in the early archery season from a natural ground blind. I learned a good lesson. Dangling grunt tubes and the kneeling position dont mix. Just when I think I have this figured out, I get humbled again.

To makemyself feel better I don't use the "M" word, I refer to it as a near hit.

Just like a poor golf shot, you can NEVER blame yourself. People don't miss deer, arrows do.

That being said, I have missed...[:@]

I'm not affraid to admit that I miss every now and then although it is a blow to the ego when it happens.
Everybody that I talk to , shoot with or hunt with admits that they have missed on a good shot as well.
It's just one of those things that happens to every bow hunter / shooter , we all should take it in stride and learn from it.

I missed a trophy class spike horn this year. Just clean missed. I couldn't believe my eyes!
I think I have only had one deflection that has caused a miss... The rest were just me... doe fever... dropping my arm... etc...
I am getting better though!
Anyone who doesn't miss is full of it... why make excuses?

I never miss. But I have fired a warning shot or two.

I missed this year. 1st time in a really long time. I don't like missing, it really bugs me when it happens.
