There are just over 20 hours setting at my drawing table on that one. I work 45 hours a week selling guns at a major sporting goods store in Northern Michigan and then spend 15 - 25 hours per week at the drawing table. Most of my art is special orders but I do a few just for fun such as the one posted here.

The hunter better look out. That buck rubbing the tree looks to be downwind

Nice drawing...all graphite?

hnt4food, Thats a great drawing, I really like the detail. If you can sit that long at a drawing table, the a tree stand should be a cake walk. Maybe people can send you there photosof them and their deerand you can put it to canvas...just a thought$$$

20 hrs till you post the next one, great..

Keep up the good work!

As far as the question from silverflicker, yes I do work at Jays, but I work at the store in Clare not Gaylord. And just to let crutch and the rest of you know, that is exactly how I do a lot of my artwork. My specialty is portraits of hunters and anglers with their trophies.
