The deer was shot in South Jersey on a small piece of land that my father and I hunt. My father passed this buck a week prior because the only shot offered was a neck shot. I hunted the same stand 1 week later (Oct 30th). I was in the tree for 15-20 min. and decided to try grunting. 5min later the buck was 5yrds broadside. Put a good shot and only had to track him 75yrds.
