I have been bowhunting since I was 12, that was 22 years agowith 3 years missed while in Desert Storm.

12 years now. I have only missed one openeing day hunt, which was this year cause I had guard drill. Kinda sucked, cause I want a buck in full velvet.

Since theearly '70s,I started with a 40# Bear Grizzley recurve. Compound bows were not legal yet in Pa.

If were talking about Flicking Slivers at Dangerous Game such as Frogs, Snakes, Birds, Squirrels and what not, it's been about 45 years. If were talking leagal Hunting Lic. at age 12, it only been 39.

Years do not alwaysaddup to experience, I have bowhunted on and off since I was 15 that was 30 years ago(Holy Crap)

and I reallly feel like a newb since being out of the game for 6 or 7 years. I have been meeting people that know so much about this sport. It is amazing what you do not know about bowhunting sometimes. You talk to someone or read something and you smack yourself in the forhead, boywas that obvious.[:'(]Thats what makes it so much fun learning the game not so much winning it. Although winning is nice sometimes too.
