shot one the other day at the pro shop.I am looking for a new bow myself It was very quiet on the shot and had so little shock that I would almost say there was none.It was very lite my only gripe was I thought the draw cycle was a little harsh. But overall a awsome bow.Now on to the Bowtech line then I get to choose my next baby.HA HA

Big discussion on this bow over on AT. Limbs are a snappin is the word I get but Mathews will make it right. There a great Company. We went with a guardian this time for my son but I cant seam to justify getting rid of the mathews I have for any bow

The bow has only been out a short time, I question the legitmacy of a lot of limbs just crackin all over the place. Can that many of them be out there already? Did Mathews not do extensive testing on their first new limb design in years? I need to know more about that claim before i just take it with a grain of salt. JMHO

I picked mine up Saturday. It's a great shooting bow but I wasn't impressed with the speed.

If you wanted speed you should have known not to get a mathews.

This is my 5th Mathews so I know that they aren't the fastest bow out there, but this bow is supposed to be 10 fpsfaster than the Outback that I sold to buy it and it's actually slower.

If i was going to buy a mathews i would go with the XT smoother draw, no hand shock, dead on in your hand and a few bucks less. The new one is faster and lighter if thats what your in to.
But ,you should shoot them and decide what you like.
