As some of you may know, a friend of mine and I have decided to try out hand at filming and producing archery only based DVDs.

A local pro shop which is directly affiliated with a certain rest manufacturer has decided to consider sponsoring us in our endeavor. We've got a meeting with theowner of the company and the owner of the proshop scheduled and everything is pointing towards the positive. We're not counting our chickens yet, but we're still pretty excited.

Just thought I'd share the good news with you guys.

Nice. I am hoping to do he same sorta thing. i was wanting to do it this season, but with a very dissapointing season there was nothing to put on tape, i have my eye on some new property where i know of some good deer which have been taken from it this season, i can't join it untill june so i will have to wait till then but all things going well i will be ona pro staff team by the end of this year.

I think I'll save that for after the contract has been signed. Maybe I'll wear the paint the first time I shoot for them.

Good luck man, hope everything goes your way. What kind of sponsership are you looking for(equipment,$,...), remember, dont let the camera get in the way of a good hunt.
