I'm glad that the police in our town have instituted an archery in school camp for kids. My oldest daughter has gotten to participate in it during and after school. It is accepted without any resistance.

Unfortunetly guncamp wouldn't be accepted.

Do you think we need to guard our bowhunting rightsin case society goes nuts and turns against it as they have guns?

I think society(PETA) is attacking bowhunting more than gun hunting.

So you see it in Canada? I don't see it around here. Are there other places that this is happening & should we prepare for it?

I think it's happening around here. The thing is PETA does it in ways hunters can't respond to. I've seen countless threads on anti-hunting forums depicting deer with arrows hanging out of them claiming how terrible and horrific bowhunting is. I think as bowhunters we need to defend our rights starting right now! Personally I don't think we can just sit back on this and let it go. We have to stand up for ourselves and our rights as hunters. We can't let them attack us like they have the gun-hunters. I'm a gun-hunter too, so I take offense to the attacks that we've felt. It sucks. As hunters we don't respond enough to the attacks that we're dealt. I think that we need to send letters to the editor just like they do. Once again my two cents.

What gets me is the STRICKLY GUN hunters bashing there own buddys. SAY there fester sticks. an all we do is make deergang green for them when they can hunt. kinda pisses me off that other hunters will bash on each other were all "suspose" to stick together

I think alot of Gun Hunters already do this, not to mention PETA and the Humane Society.

I agree. I gun, muzzleload, & bow, hunt. Many of us like the entire package. Some like parts of hunting. Are we being naive to think thatour right to huntwill be here a few generations from now? We are a big community in hni. What are some ideas we cando to keep hunting for our future generations?
