Which moon phase is your favorite to hunt, in seeking phase of rut or just in hunting whitetails.

I would rather hunt during a new moon , reason being so dark that you really can't see anything but from past hunting trips I noticed that the deer were alot more active.

New moon.

Its so dark at night that deer are forced to move more during the day to feed.

At least thats what I've noticed in my area.

I voted new moon but I like Hunting all phases execpt Full Moon. Durning full moon by me nothing moves.

I like the new moon the best, but I don't try to get caught up on the moon's I just try to enjoy all the hunts.

We don't start here till Oct. 1st but I would like it tobe sept.

New Moon by far. I have always seen the most game when it is a new moon cause they all come out to feed during the day cause they cant do it at night like when there is a full moon.
