Well i have not really cared about the moon. I mean i like full moons, not for hunting just becuase they are so bright and i dont know they calm me. I dont know if you think this is weird but that is y i like a full moon.

Alright I'll be the oddball. For rut, I like the full moon because as we all know during the rut bucks like to move around at midday which also coincides with the full moon movement pattern. Makes that medday action hot and heavy. Also, you don't have to worry about being out their at the crack of dawn either.

I don't really pay much attention to moon phases anymore, but I admittedly prefer the greater darkness of a new moon for making my questionable stealth skills less of an issue... ;)

new moon i feel when it is full they have been out feeding all night and don't move as much during the day
