You got every right to be on state land just like those four wheelers do , I'd say your not gonna get in any trouble just for walking around .
So go out there and look to your hearts content and let us know if you find anything

Just because it is state land does not give you rights to be on it. There are tons of what they call "school sections" in SD and WY. They are state owned but NOT public property. You can and will get prosecuted for tresspassing.

The state leases these lands to private landowners. The leasee has the say as to what goes on there, not the state. Get permission before going. The DNR won't do you any good, you have to find out who leases the land and talk to them.

I don't see any problem with just walking around either, unless it says no trespassing. That's a different story. Maybe you should ask. You never know, my princliple is an avid whitetail and elk hunter. Maybe that school's will be too!

it is not leased it is owned by the state of maryland for the private schooling. not public an i looked already it says no hunting
thats the only sign i have seen in the past 15 years

Like I said if the four wheelers are using it , then you should too.
The tax's you pay help pay for that land so you have a right to use it too.

i went out their yesterday to walk around an i found a bunch of lastyears sheds not all chewed up like i would have thought..
i was talking to the guy that runs the school he said they are letting people clear the deer out so i asked him about hunting he said sure.. so he put me in the system as he said with my name tel number an address..
so i am thinking i am gonna go hunt it this weekend or the next befor the season is out thanks!

I think it is legal as long as you do not have a weapon.
